HOW WE BEGAN
We opened the doors to our beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii swimwear boutique in March 2017, at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Our owner and designer of La Pearl Swim, Darwin Ward, wanted to not only cater to the bikini shoppers online but to the locals and tourists of Hawaii. We're excited to announce that La Pearl Swim is no longer exclusive to our online shop but now available at our storefront, Born of the Water.
HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT
With our variety of bathing suits, we offer numerous coverage options and sizing; we offer something for every woman. Our affordable styles range from trendy and "cheeky" to classic and conservative; from Brazilian to surf capris, and everything in between.
Born of the Water loves to support local designers, so we carry Hawaii bikini brands whenever possible! We focus on supporting women-owned businesses, since we believe in #womensupportingwomen!
OUR GOAL
At Born of the Water, we aspire to be Hawaii's go-to boutique for swimwear. We believe in offering our clients quality swimsuits to fit their lifestyle, whether they surf, swim or lounge at the beach.
