How to Shop for Swimwear Online

Shopping for bikinis online can be even more daunting than visiting a brick-and-mortar store. Figuring out sizing, style, cut etc. can definitely be overwhelming, especially since you're trying to decipher all of this information from images! Not to worry, we got you, #bowbabe. Below are just five easy steps that will hopefully take the fear out of your online bikini shopping experience:

1.) Check out social media platforms or "lookbooks"

Since everybody's body is different, checking out social media or "lookbooks" of the swimsuit brand you're interested in can ultimately aid you in your buying choice. If possible, find a model that's similar to your shape to get the best gauge!

2.) Buy Separates

Fortunately for our #bowbabes, all of our designers sell their pieces in separates so you can find your perfect fit! Gone are the days of having to buy two different swimsuit sets to get your match.

3.) Online Promotions

The easiest way for our #bowbabes to save money is to follow us on social media! We let our clients know about sales via Instagram, Facebook or through our mailing list. We also have our ongoing Free Shipping promotion displayed on our homepage.

4.) Know Your Body!

It's helpful to know your body shape and your measurements when buying swimwear online (or any online apparel really!). 5.) Exchange Policy

Due to swimwear being considered an intimate item, Born of the Water has a few guidelines when it comes to exchanges:

• All exchanges must be postmarked within seven (7) days of delivery to complete an exchange
• Merchandise must be unworn, unsoiled, and unwashed
• Sanitary strips, manufacturer tags, hang tags and any other applicable accessories must be attached to the item(s) and untampered with. No Exceptions.

If merchandise is found to be soiled, mishandled, abused, laundered or missing tags then it will be subject to refusal and will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Please allow 5-7 business days from the exchange arrival date to receive notification on your exchange status.
